lol. Ctrl alt delete. Yeah well. I dunno, but something tells me most people wouldnt play this game for the pvp since the way the game is set up. It just doesnt work too well in my mind. The pvp wouldnt be much of a match compared to other games in my oppinion. But if they could make it good that would be great.

considering that nothing about PVP apears on the asda website ....i'm not even sure that there will be any xD ....but all we can do is wait and see ...

I mean, It's only useful when threatening people but when people know that there is pvp some don't even want to play the game because they are afraid of high lvls.

Pvp Is not Pking out of the blue. The other person knows That there is a Pvp arena and is a dumbass for entering.

Archlord had it so wherever you went you could pk other people without consent. Except in towns. It ended up creating the genocide of noobs started by the higher levels. Go figure i didnt spend more than 30 mins in that game since it was just madness. And there was no separate servers for like pk and non pk. Horrifying.

games with pvp in all maps .... SUCK.
that's the perfect and only example of how the way you PvP can destroy any sort of enjoyment you extract out of the game.

if say... asda was all -maps- are-pvp I wouldn't be playing it.

din rly like the pvp as in 1 on 1... prefer some sort of nation vs nation on certain map... guild war / party battle.. doesnt seem fun enough.

There is a huge difference between PK and PVP.

PVP is Player versus Player - Like a duel.
PK is Player Killing - Killing anyone w/o reason.

well I am all against having the ability to pk at all, it's just so annoying to be forced to chase someone away when he starts screwing around with you while you are trying to level up

I am really not into pvp at all.. excluding maybe a full guild war like ragnarok's war of emperium (every guild vs every guild)

I've put in my two cents. I dont care for PvP myself either though. So whatever the outcome i really wont care much as long as people dont complain in game.

I dought they will implement pvp accross the world in asda, but certainly an event once a week, such as a guild battle would be nice, where all the guilds/clans could enter to fight it out against one another, and the victor gets a certain item to use for a week till the next guild battle.

This was a very sucesful implementation in flyff. Also a pvp arena is a must to let out strain for people who r just bored or taking a break from grinding.

However, this arena should at least be free reign, instead of asking your opponent to pvp. That should be implemented anywhere (so if you intown or out and about you can challenge someone but not auto pk them).

That would be asking for alot from asda, but only time will tell =D

a pvp arena or pvp duel mode is a must in a mmo, it's hard to see one without it, and i find it prety fun...PK is totaly diferent, i can't say i hate PK (since i abused a lot of it in wow and lineage...at that time i was like flooded with ppl swering againt me ) but i must say i prefer a game without PK...killing is fun...beeing killed is not so fun >.<

Agreed, Open Pk is bad, and Im totaly against the idea, especialy if thers a catch to it such as losing exp when you die =/

Pvp is great though, and if this game doesn't have anything specif, or tourny based, it wont get very far =/
