Making "publicity"
Ok you should probably delete this post as soon as the forum grows bigger, but ehre's the thing. The forum is not known at all as I write this, and I see some posts in the official site's freeboard where people ask about a better website/forum. And since topics we create in the freeboard won't make the topic go up, I think we should post the link to this ofrum as many times as possible. Just to make sure it gets some visibility. I would do it myself, but for some reason I get a 505 error when trying to do it (yea, 505, dunno what it is... ).
Hum... That's prety much it.
Edit: I know it would be spamming, but since the website is lacking so much in terms of content, I think it is something that must be done.

Re: Making "publicity"
I did post the url in Google. Say's that it's been added. Yet it can't be found.. Lovely >_> I'll try again
Re: Making "publicity"
Which proves none of you guys understand how google works ;p
It counts 'references'. The more sites (and the more respectworthy the sites) reference this page, the higher will it be in search. No reference = not in search ;p

Damn. Ok so how do i reference sites? Im sorry but it is my first time making a forum.
Re: Making "publicity"
To reference, you need to have your link on as much sites as possible. Also, when it finnaly gets on Google, the more people click on your link, the higher it gets on the list. I've been told that a stats counter helps too, but I'm not so sure about it.
Anyways, juste getting it known in the Asda Story community should be enough. If we get big enough, people will refer to it in-game.

Re: Making "publicity"
I guess. I won't have the time to link it atm. Grad exams in less than 3 days. I'll do it once exams are over
Re: Making "publicity"
How old is this forum? It takes a while for it to spider forumotion, which will automatically post your site on google. If google hasn't indexed it for a while. forumotion might have subdomains blocked from the search spiders...

Re: Making "publicity"
That might be why then...you just have to wait a bit for it to spider it.
