Archer Guide Skill

Ok lets have it here.. i hope the admin will make this one a sticky topic so that for those who want to be an archer this thread is for you

Ok so since im the threadstarter ill make my 1st comment regarding my archer though not that an expert.. lets help each other in polishing this job

My personal preference as an archer is a Bow Archer

* A bow archer hasnt that enough speed as compared to his counterpart Crossbow and Ballista unless you have SM
(SupportMage) in your party.
* A bow archer (i think) has many buffs compared to his counterpart
* A bow archer is an expertise in Poison and Bleeding skill/mastery
* A bow archer isn't a damage dealer compared to those two
* A bow archer has fast stun effect IMO, critical strike isnt noticeable in CB so dunno if it has also fast crit (would be great if
they change the color of a damage crit to distinguish it from normal damage and skill damage

As for now this are my preferences as a Bow Archer.. if you guys have any other info on a Bow Archer just put them in am gladly appreciate it. Lets help each other.

I don't remember exactly all the skills I put in my balis, but there weren't many skill on balis's skill tree luckily there are some you can use in bows' & xbows' skilltree.

Most important to me were speed/crit/stun (Dex,Luck and any other crit & stun Increase% skills) with range(Eagle eye, Step back), and stamina. (max any hp skill & find a decent hp option sowel)

When in Queen's or Chess I usually Lure mobs for teammates and kill the monsters I seldom die, only sometimes by those stupid bishops with their aoe attacks when I was lvl 18.


Soloing is pretty easy for balis since it's used for long range whenever I had a feeling I was gonna be jumped by a mob I would use ice trap and and hopefully the monster I was attacking was stunned so it was behind, the other mobs running would eventually be caught in the trap.

And that snipe skill where you increased dmg I really liked. What I used most was repeat fire, it was the only skill that looked usefull for me.

i had tested out a bow archer also in CB and its really hard to play as a bow archer since u gotta keep on using skill everytime to kill things quicker, use posion then fire arrow skill (forgot name)

but bow archer r like support char in a party pretty much, they help kill bosses way quicker b/c of the high dmg per hit (skills)

and imo u have to be some1 who likes to use a complex style of play to be able to use the bow archer b/c they got a pretty complex skill tree where u can max out all ur invis skill (invis is only good if u get all skills related to it) and use the bomb/net skills instead of posion/fire arrows

I've become an archer and i'm a bit confused with the skill thing
Which section of skills do i use to be a bow archer?
Dragon Slayer - Archer Assault or Soul Master?
I have a feeling DS is for crossbows
if anyone can help
